9 yrs ago, Tasneem was engaged and searching for a pro-photographer that could take artistic, spontaneous pictures, and would capture all the small details of that special day. At that time, Saudi didn’t have any options that advertised online, and the ones she saw used fabric backgrounds that were used in every wedding.

Now with her wedding album hidden away for many years, Tasneem was determined to change that for the brides that have style, personality, and adamant to have their wedding pictures showcased with pride. Her advice is: “search for a good photographer, meet and really make sure that she understands your personality” “I know that planning a wedding can sometimes be an exhausting processes, but once it’s your wedding day, you’ll only remember that the day is finally here. A good photographer will make sure that you see all those details that you worked so hard to get. It’s a once in a lifetime experience, don’t make those memories get dusty in your closet!” she laughs.
When asking her about the wedding photography process, she shares with us:
“I tend to meet the bride and groom prior to the wedding a couple of times to make them feel comfortable. On the big day, I start the photography from the getting ready (makeup, hair, getting dressed) and take pictures of the first glances, the laughs, the tears, and especially the nervousness. The fluttering heartbeats of the couple walking down the aisle is such a special moment, I usually blend in the background to not cover the bride from the guests. I want her to feel how special she is between her loved ones. Later on, after enjoying their time with the family, I ask the bride and groom for 40 mins of my (bridal diva time) those minutes tend to be fun, romantic, and really showcase the beautiful newlyweds personality. I make sure that each wedding tells a different story.
Do you believe in posing?
“I don’t call it posing. I call it showing off your best features. Adding light in a specific angle can add so much beauty. Asking the groom to whisper something into the brides ear isn’t posing, it’s just nudging a specific emotion to show”
What are the tools you need for a wedding day? “My camera, lens, and a small flash. If you know what your doing, then you won’t need to pack heavy. I use the natural light around me. I find too much equipment, and too much photo editing never adds to the real beauty of the moment”
We finally asked her what she loves most about her work: “I love capturing the spirit of a different bride and groom, different location, different style through my camera. I love hearing a different romantic story of how the couple met. Each of those things guide me into a different type of shoot. I feel special and honored to be chosen to capture the photos of one of their most cherished days”
